One River Place

Architect: Ammar Eloueini AEDS
Photography: Sara Essex Bradley

Situated along the Mississippi River in downtown New Orleans, the goal for this complete penthouse gut and renovation was to take full advantage of the views. The aim was to create serene and pristine open spaces while taking in the majestic scenery and light shifting qualities. We chose to use grey washed oak floors and natural stone throughout to evoke a light and airy quality yet still providing a warm atmosphere. As this is not the owner's main home, it was important to incorporate materials that are low maintenance. The entertainment bar and storage unit is used as a central element to divide public space from private space. The millwork fabricated by Boffi allowed us to achieve the highest level quality in finishes and craftsmanship for the kitchen and bar. We were able to provide a turnkey service by coordinating interior finishes and millwork design, plumbing, lighting selections, furnishings, and artwork curation.
