French Quarter Residence

In this restoration and renovation of an early 1800s home situated in the heart of the historic New Orleans French Quarter, it was crucial to preserve the history while providing the new owners with an elegant home filled with modern amenities and luxuries. The result is a perfect story of old and new. The 7,000 square foot house was gutted and fitted with new plumbing and electrical. The original wood floors, plaster walls, and architectural detailing were restored throughout. As a second home for the owners, the focus was providing a place for entertaining and relaxing during their time spent in New Orleans. We converted the existing galley kitchen into a bar and relocated the main kitchen to the third floor fitted with the highest-level appliances and millwork. The bathrooms were redesigned with new finishes and fixtures. This was a full turnkey project including exterior preservation, space planning, interior finishes, custom lighting as well as all furnishings, artwork and accessories.
